You need to remember to be professional and have a good sporting attitude. Don't try to lose to make your client happy, this could be obvious and cause insult. You want to be yourself and get to know the client better in a relaxed setting.

Things can get tricky if your client is cheating or is just a bad golfer. You need to take a judgement call on whether to call them on their cheat, or let it slide. If you are pulling too far ahead you could fluff a few shots. Don't make it obvious though.
The most important thing, at the end of the day, is that your client enjoys him/herself and gets to know you and your company better.
